Norsk Landbruksrådgiving SA (NLR) / The Norwegian Agricultural Advisory Service is the link between research and agriculture and collects, develops and coordinates knowledge that the advisers convey to agricultural professionals.

NLR's advice is mainly within agronomy, agricultural buildings, mechanical engineering, precision agriculture, hydrotechnics, greenhouses, HSE, business development, economics, organic agriculture, climate and the environment.

Local experiments are important for developing and verifying knowledge. Almost 700 field trials are carried out annually with the members. The experiments form a good basis for sharing knowledge on field days, at meetings and through professional articles.

NLR is a nationwide cooperative with 24,000 members and 370 employees.
